Wikipedia - now there is simple.wikipedia.org
A great place to locate information that is written at a level so younger students can understand it. The text is simplified and it can also be used as a comprehension tool for students.
Try it and see what you think. May be have this as one of your reading stations/sounds alive stations or include it in an inquiry (either independent, group or whole class).
