Welcome to Wanaka Primary online e learning and ICT, professional development journal. This blog is a tool to assist teachers in becoming confident, connected and actively involved users of ICT. We continue to work towards our school vision to use ICT as an essential tool, integrated into our planning, teaching and pedagogy to enhance teaching and learning programmes. It will therefore begin opening new and innovative ways of learning and thinking.

Hi Tipurangi 15
If you can't turn off the computer by using the button at the bottom left of the screen then hold down the on/off button for at least 10 seconds. This way of shutting down is not what would normally be done so be careful.
You could also try CNTRL + ALT + Delete and then go to Task Manager and close programmes that may be waiting to be closed before turning the computer off. Hope some of this may help.
